“Long Time Listener, First Time Caller” is the first Family Video full length on Lost Sound Tapes after releasing a split cassette with Halifax band, Sparkle Water. However, this is actually the 5th total album for Family Video of St John's, Newfoundland. J. King is the creative force behind Family Video and she has a distinct ability for creating emotional indie pop songs with a cinematic feel to them. It’s no coincidence then that the band has already created and posted 4 music videos to accompany songs from this album. King is joined by fellow musicians Noah Bender, Jake Nicoll, and Geordie Dynes to fill out the lineup for this album. “Long Time Listener…” is an 11 track album perfect for road trips, looking through old knick knacks, or staring out the window at a snowy day.
